Apartment fire in Nghe An; many people broke down doors to put out the flames.

Today (September 23), information from Quan Bau ward, Vinh City, indicates that immediately after discovering smoke emanating from building CT1 of Kim Thi apartment complex, people called for collective action, breaking down doors and bringing small fire extinguishers to put out the fire.

Accordingly, the incident occurred around 11:00 AM on the same day, when residents on the second floor of the Kim Thi apartment building panicked upon discovering white smoke emanating from an apartment on that floor.

According to initial information from residents, the homeowner was using a gas stove to cook food, and due to carelessness, went outside without paying attention, causing the pot of food to burn and emit white smoke.

"The small fire occurred in one room and did not affect other apartments in the building. It was caused by a resident cooking and not paying attention when they went outside, leading to the fire in the kitchen," a ward leader said.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
