According to our reporter's findings, the number of hotel bookings in Sa Pa ( Lao Cai ) this year has increased early and is lasting for an extended period. Many tour groups finalized their bookings as early as the beginning of March, with rooms fully booked until the end of the holiday, and even into early May.

Sapa is fully booked.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh, Director of Lito Travel, said that large hotels currently have almost no rooms left for large groups. "At this time, we mainly only accept family groups and small individual travelers; each accommodation facility only has a few rooms available," Mr. Thinh said.

According to Mr. Thinh, in addition to the city center, tourists tend to move to community-based tourism villages such as Ta Van and Cat Cat to both stay overnight and experience local life and participate in festival activities.

Commune leaders directly inspected accommodation establishments, restaurants, and service businesses in the villages of Lo Lo Chai, Thien Pa, and Ma Le. Through the review, the awareness of business owners regarding compliance with regulations showed a clear improvement. Price listing, menu display, food safety assurance, and environmental hygiene were implemented more systematically. Many establishments proactively upgraded their services, improved their service attitudes, and gradually built a reputation with tourists.

The entire commune has nearly 100 accommodation establishments with approximately 600 rooms, along with about 50 households providing food and beverage services, shopping, and 15 healthcare facilities, basically meeting the diverse needs of tourists. Notably, many households have registered their operations, switched to using electronic invoices, and adopted modern management methods.
