Overview of the meeting.
At the meeting, party members were informed about the following contents: the Party's policies and views, the State's laws on beliefs, religions and current state management of religions and issues raised; discussions on state management of Protestantism in Cao Bang province and information on some new religious and belief phenomena, etc.; discussions on state management of Catholicism in Cao Bang province; discussions on state management of Buddhism in Cao Bang province.

This is the first topic in the 2025 Work Program of the Party Cell. The thematic meeting aims to raise the sense of responsibility of Party members and the masses of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to fully understand the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on religious work, associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh towards celebrating the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the agency for ethnic work (May 3, 1946 - May 3, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025).
Through the content of thematic activities, it helps party members and the masses to continuously study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; raise awareness of self-training, self-reflection, self-correction, prevention and combat of degradation in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle; resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity; propose effective solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned political tasks./.
