Vietnam's 2023 World Happiness Index increased by 12 places, from 77th in 2022 to 65th with a happiness score of 5.8 and ranked 4th in Southeast Asia. This is positive information at the thematic meeting "Family happiness and family lifeeducation " organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam in coordination with the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Youth Union this morning, March 15.

The meeting emphasized that Vietnam's 2023 global happiness index increased by 12 levels, showing that we are living in a civilized, modern society with friendly, happy and sustainable people. This positively reflects Vietnam's achievements in international integration in recent times. However, there are still many families that are not truly happy, the number of domestic violence and divorce cases among young people tends to increase, the erosion of morality and good customs is also a problem that needs attention and resolution.
With experience in scientific research, reporting as well as social activities, delegate Hoa Huu Van - Former Deputy Director of the Family Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shared experiences, exchanged stories, and practical lessons about maintaining family happiness, raising children, family behavior, domestic violence, love and sustainable marriage...
This is an activity in response to the United Nations International Day of Happiness on March 20.
