E-government is no longer a foreign concept in Ca Mau . From the provincial level to the grassroots, the system of software for managing electronic documents and work files has been implemented synchronously. Officials and civil servants are gradually becoming familiar with processing documents in an online environment, minimizing paper documents, shortening circulation time, and enhancing transparency in handling work.
Citizens now have the convenient option of having their results delivered to their homes, a significant step forward in improving the quality of service when handling administrative procedures.
Promoting digital government brings practical benefits: shorter processing times, reduced social costs, and greater transparency and openness of information. In particular, in the context of comprehensive digital transformation, people in remote areas and those with busy schedules can still complete administrative procedures anytime, anywhere. With just a smartphone, citizens can easily look up publicly available administrative procedures and track the progress of their applications.
As of December 5, 2025, the National Public Service Portal recorded that Ca Mau province had a 97.56% rate of timely processing of applications; 100% of administrative procedures were publicly disclosed in accordance with regulations; 99.99% of administrative procedures were provided online; 95.02% of documents were digitized; 88.56% of applications were submitted online; 98.87% of payments were made online; and the satisfaction level reached 99.03%. According to the general assessment of the Government Office , Ca Mau ranked 6th out of 34 provinces and cities in implementing the set of indicators for serving citizens and businesses in carrying out administrative procedures and providing public services.
