(HNMO) - Today, May 14th, the Vietnamese sports delegation continues to compete in the finals of its strong sports such as wrestling, diving, fencing, chess, tennis, stick fighting, etc. Among them, sports like aerobics, diving, wrestling... are predicted to bring a "shower of gold medals" for the Vietnamese sports delegation.
The most notable event today is taekwondo, where martial artist Truong Thi Kim Tuyen will compete in the 49kg weight category. It's noteworthy because Kim Tuyen's weight class will also feature Olympic champion Panipak Wongpattanakit of Thailand, making it a very difficult challenge for Kim Tuyen.
Throughout the day, aerobic competitions continued, and Vietnam is likely to win a gold medal in the 5-person team event, as this is one of our strengths. Meanwhile, in diving, athletes competed in 8 final events. This is a strong sport for Vietnam, and it is predicted that at least 5 gold medals will be won.
The tennis tournament will feature the men's singles final. There, Ly Hoang Nam will compete against Fitriadi (Indonesia) for the gold medal.
In addition, wrestling and arnis also began their first day of competition. Notably, wrestling will feature six men's Greco-Roman wrestling events. Barring any surprises, our wrestlers will likely win all six gold medals.
