Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee inspects construction progress of projects in the area

BTO-On the afternoon of March 27, Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City inspected the progress of construction works and projects in the city to remove difficulties, urge to speed up the progress of projects, ensure completion on schedule, contribute to the development of urban infrastructure and improve people's lives.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the construction progress of the following projects: Upgrading Tran Quy Cap Street (from the Y-shaped Gate to Ong Nhieu Bridge); Thuong Chanh Park; Expanding Nguyen Van Linh Street (from Ky Con Street to 19/4 Street); Repairing and upgrading Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Hoang Ngoc Tourist Area to Lang Chai Intersection).

The Tran Quy Cap Street Upgrading Project (from the Y-shaped Gate to Ong Nhieu Bridge) is nearly 2.7km long, with a total investment of more than 41.5 billion VND; the total land acquisition area is more than 67,000 m2 of 337 households and 12 organizations. Currently, the project is installing 50m of rainwater drainage pipes.

Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan - Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee inspected and urged to speed up the progress of projects in the area.

The Thuong Chanh Park project has an area of 33,700m2 , with a total investment of 37.5 billion VND. Some construction items have been completed and put into use, the construction unit is implementing construction and repairing the breakwater in this area.

The Nguyen Van Linh Street Expansion Project (from Ky Con Street to 19/4 Street) is nearly 120m long, with an investment of more than 21 billion VND, and is currently in the clearing and site clearance stage.

The project to repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang streets (from Hoang Ngoc tourist area to Lang Chai intersection) is nearly 5 km long, with a total investment of nearly 310 billion VND. The project is currently installing a 100m rainwater and wastewater drainage system; compensation for 161/383 households has been completed.

At the inspection sites, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan requested the investor to coordinate with the construction unit to increase human and material resources, and work overtime day and night to speed up the progress of the projects. Relevant agencies and units coordinate to speed up the review of the legality of the land acquisition records, and when the clean land is handed over, construction will be immediately implemented to keep up with the progress.

In addition, the Chairman of the City People's Committee noted that it is necessary to ensure labor safety, minimize dust spilling onto the road, affecting the traffic and travel of people during the construction process. Regarding Thuong Chanh Park, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested to renovate and rearrange parking areas, reasonably arrange the premises for renting business premises; at the same time, renovate the trees and strengthen environmental sanitation both in the campus and Thuong Chanh beach...
