At the Huu Cau riverbank erosion treatment project, the section from K49+710÷K49+840, about 130m long, invested by the Bac Ninh City Project Management Board, a solution was designed to reinforce the riverbank, the embankment was a vertical wall structure combined with a sloped roof, the foundation of the embankment was reinforced with precast prestressed reinforced concrete sheet piles. The upper part of the embankment was reinforced with a sloped roof with a reinforced concrete girder frame structure; the embankment roof was paved with precast concrete panels; the embankment crest was built, the riverside railing was installed and other auxiliary works were constructed. The total investment was more than 29 billion VND, striving to complete the project by December 31, 2025.

Regarding the emergency treatment project for the Huu Cau embankment landslide at Km49+300, invested by the Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board, the construction was implemented from December 15, 2023 with a scale of 180m long embankment; estimated cost of 55 billion VND. Up to now, the contractor has completed the entire embankment toe and part of the lower embankment; the volume value has reached 94%. About 100m of embankment, embankment top road and auxiliary items such as railings, drainage ditches, electricity lines, clean water lines, etc. have not been implemented due to the expiration of the project implementation period and land acquisition problems. The Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allow additional site clearance costs to be added to the project; extend the project implementation period until October 30, 2025, in order to absolutely protect the safety of the Huu Cau embankment.

Directly inspecting the field, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan commended the Management Board of Transport and Agriculture Projects, Bac Ninh city for urging and directing investors and contractors to speed up the construction progress of the emergency treatment project for the landslide incident on the Huu Cau riverbank, section through Van An ward, ensuring progress, techniques and aesthetics according to the approved design.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the rainy and stormy season is approaching, requesting the investor to urge and direct contractors to mobilize human resources, materials, machinery and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the remaining items, ensuring that the progress is ahead of schedule. For households that have been relocated, Bac Ninh city continues to care for and provide necessary living conditions so that households can feel secure. Urgently complete infrastructure, hand over resettlement land to households before June 15, 2025.
As for some households that have not yet relocated, the city is requested to continue to mobilize households to relocate and hand over the project construction site as soon as possible; agree with the proposal of Bac Ninh city to implement phase 2 of the project to build a road running along Van An embankment, about 850m long; assign relevant departments and branches, and Bac Ninh city to urgently develop a plan to submit to the province for approval as soon as possible.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the investor has a plan to build low-level railings in the embankment area adjacent to the river, both ensuring safety for people, ensuring flood escape corridors and promoting the effectiveness of the project.
