11 trains will be operated, with an additional 2 trains with an average interval of 7 - 12 minutes. On Saturdays and Sundays, the frequency of trains will be less frequent, with 9 trains operating with an interval of 8 - 12 minutes.

Increasing the frequency of trains is one of the solutions to meet the increasing travel demand of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger, and at the same time support officials, civil servants, and workers from Binh Duong to the central area for daily work. Officials, civil servants, and workers from Binh Duong Administrative Center can use bus routes 61-05 and 61-77, the route connecting to the new Eastern Bus Station, then use the metro to move to the city center.

Also from today (July 1), passengers can buy smart magnetic cards (IC Cards) placed at stations to take metro line 1 through top-up cards at automatic ticket machines.

The Urban Railway One Member Limited Liability Company No. 1 has arranged 2 ticket vending machines (TVM) and 1 fare adjustment machine (FAM) at each entrance to the station. Smart magnetic cards (IC Card) include the following forms: 1-way, 1-day and 3-day. Passengers choose the type of train card, the route, and the number of cards to buy at the automatic ticket vending machine. Then, make payment (the payment amount includes: deposit for using the card and the fare of the trip), receive the card, print the receipt and scan the card at the ticket gate to use the service.

After completing the trip, the passenger can adjust the ticket price (if any), return the card and receive the deposit back. Specific deposit amount: For a single-trip card, the deposit is 15,000 VND/card; for a 1-day card, 3-day card and a top-up card, the deposit is 35,000 VND/card. In case the passenger has not yet reached the station specified in the ticket card and no longer needs to continue using it, the passenger will not be refunded the amount of the purchased card.

Automatic ticket machines and fare adjustment machines only accept cash payments with denominations from VND 1,000 to VND 200,000. Passengers will not be refunded the purchased train ticket price once the ticket card has been used for a transaction. For top-up cards, the minimum amount a passenger needs to top up is VND 10,000, the maximum limit on the card is VND 5 million (excluding the deposit fee of VND 35,000).

In addition to public transport, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers from the two administrative centers after the merger will be picked up and dropped off for free by 4 45-seat buses and 6 16-seat buses arranged by Phuong Trang FutaBusline Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company.

In the beginning, there will be 6 trips organized each day, including 3 pick-ups and 3 drop-offs, divided into 2 different time frames.
