Specifically, the 6 contents presented at the 28th Session include: Report on the state budget revenue and expenditure in 2024, the state budget allocation plan in 2025 and the 3-year state budget plan for 2025 - 2027; Report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2024; Report on the budget settlement in 2023; Report on the operation of non-budget state financial funds managed by the province in 2024, tasks in 2025; Regulations on the reception, visit and congratulation regime for a number of subjects implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels; Regulations on expenditure levels for industrial promotion activities in the province.

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Finance and related sectors analyzed and evaluated the results of the implementation of the State budget revenue and expenditure in 2024. Mr. Dang Phong - Director of the Department of Finance said that the State budget revenue in the province in 2024 is estimated to reach nearly 25,000 billion VND, reaching 105.8% of the estimate and equivalent to the revenue of the previous year.

Of which, domestic revenue was VND 20,676 billion, reaching 102.9% of the estimate. Revenue sources reached and exceeded the estimate such as revenue from Truong Hai automobiles, hydropower, and Nam Hoi An activities. Local budget revenue reached more than VND 44,321 billion, reaching 142.8% of the estimate. The estimated local budget expenditure in 2024 is VND 31,368 billion, estimated to be VND 44,566 billion.

The contents expected to be presented at the 28th Session were implemented by the Department of Finance in accordance with legal regulations, within its authority, and in accordance with the budget management situation in the province.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung basically agreed with the reports and projects drafted by the Department of Finance. At the same time, he requested the Department of Finance to complete the reports, supplement financial and budgetary issues appropriately, fully complying with State regulations before submitting to the Provincial People's Council. Along with that, monitor and prepare explanations when the committees and delegates of the Provincial People's Council raise issues and request explanations.

“2024 is an important year in deciding on the 5-year finance and budget (2021 - 2025), so it is necessary to evaluate the results, causes of shortcomings and limitations to propose solutions to achieve the set targets and tasks” - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung noted.
