DNSE Securities changes general

The Board of Directors of DNSE Securities Corporation (code DSE) has just appointed a new General Director to replace Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hoa.

Accordingly, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hoa will leave the position of General Director of DNSE after 5 years of leading the executive board (2020 - 2025).

Instead, DNSE's Board of Directors appointed Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Linh to this senior position. The appointment decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.

It is known that Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Linh was born in 1985, has 18 years of experience in the field of finance and banking and joined DNSE in 2020. Before being appointed to the position of General Director, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Linh had held the roles of Head of Proprietary Trading, Head of Product Development and Partnership; Director of Securities Trading and Partner at DNSE.

In 2025, this securities company targets total revenue of VND 1,507 billion, an increase of 85%; after-tax profit of VND 262 billion, an increase of 44% compared to 2024 results. This growth plan is based on a complete and competitive product ecosystem, in the context of a market wave with potential to explode in the coming time.

In the first quarter of 2025, DNSE increased revenue by 34% and margin lending by 37% compared to the same period in 2024. Despite strong revenue growth, first-quarter profits decreased due to high operating costs, especially from financial asset provisions and borrowing costs. First-quarter after-tax profit reached VND53.1 billion, down 24.3% year-on-year.

In recent times, DNSE has focused heavily on the derivatives sector. In this sector, DNSE is holding the Top 2 position in the derivatives market share with a market share of 16.7% in the first quarter of 2025.

At the same time, the company also continues to increase the number of newly opened accounts. DNSE said that in the first quarter of 2025, DNSE accounted for 33% of the market share of newly opened accounts, of which nearly 75% of customers came from partner channels. This figure brought the total number of accounts managed by DNSE to 1.2 million by the end of June 2025.
