However, in reality, many schools, businesses, residential areas, and community spaces still face difficulties in building libraries due to investment costs and access to quality books.

Based on this reality, since 2024, Omega+ and Alpha Books have implemented a program to support the construction of community libraries, accompanying individuals and organizations in their journey of spreading knowledge. After two years of implementation, the program has received positive responses nationwide. Many schools have had new libraries built by generations of alumni, many residential areas have seen the emergence of reading corners for children, many businesses have invested in internal libraries to develop a learning culture for their employees, and many families have created reading spaces that connect family members.

Following these positive results, the "Community Library Construction Support Program 2026" officially launched from May 18, 2026 to July 18, 2026 with several notable new features. According to the organizers, this year's program features a more diverse book catalog, adds more children's books, and increases the total value of the library while maintaining the same support cost. For just 3 million VND, organizations or individuals can own a library of approximately 100 books with rich content suitable for various reader groups.

With the "Connect," "Share," and "Develop" packages, the program's book catalog includes over 500 titles selected from reputable publishers such as Omega+, Alpha Books, Einstein Books, Gamma, Medinsights, and Sống. The content spans many practical fields such as history, science, economics, politics , life skills, general medicine, art, and parenting books, aiming to serve a diverse audience from students and working professionals to general readers.

The program's highlight is its flexibility in book selection and optimized implementation costs. Support packages are designed to suit various reading space models such as schools, libraries, book cafes, co-working spaces, businesses, residential areas, or family libraries. This allows each entity to proactively build a library tailored to its specific needs and target audience.

Ms. Le Xuyen, representing the organizing committee, stated that the program is not simply about supporting the provision of books, but also aims to build spaces that nurture knowledge, promote reading habits, and create sustainable community values. In a society increasingly needing positive cultural foundations, each bookshelf established will be a "seed" contributing to spreading the spirit of learning and connecting people through knowledge.
