Khmer general art program "Joy of the festival"

On the evening of August 18, at Xiem Can Pagoda, Hiep Thanh Ward, Cao Van Lau Theater coordinated with the Khmer Ca Mau Art Troupe to organize a Khmer art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. The program attracted a large audience of local Khmer people and neighboring communes of Can Tho City.

Khmer people in Hiep Thanh ward and neighboring communes came to enjoy the art program.

With the theme “Joy of the Festival”, the program takes place over 3 nights (August 18-20) with the content praising the merits of the Party, beloved Uncle Ho , the happiness of the whole people towards the 80th anniversary of the country full of joy, the jubilant and colorful atmosphere of the Khmer festival. Especially the performance of the play “The Curse of Chan Khay Nay” with an attractive plot and the combination of many traditional art forms.

The song "The Country is Full of Joy" performed by artists and actors of Cao Van Lau Theater created a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the audience.

Reenacting traditional Khmer festivals with typical dances.

After Xiem Can Pagoda, the program will continue to take place in areas with a large Khmer population in Ca Mau province to create a bustling atmosphere during the country's great holiday, arouse national solidarity and encourage people to join hands to build a beautiful, rich and civilized homeland.
