Special circus program to celebrate the Party and the Year of the Snake 2025

Recently, with the annual organization of many circus programs to celebrate major national holidays, such as: Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30); War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), Capital Liberation Day (October 10)..., artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation have affirmed that circus is not only rich in art and entertainment but also suitable for conveying political content.

A series of memorable scenes from these programs such as “Immortal Circle”, “Mother’s Legend”, “Round Footprints on the Sand”, “Peaceful Sky”, “Faraway Island”… have shown the diversity and richness of circus language, proving that circus is capable of conquering many audiences, including children, young people, and the elderly.

Following that success, the Vietnam Circus Federation continues to perform a special circus program to celebrate the Party and the Year of the Snake with a smooth blend of traditional and modern elements, showcasing the beauty of circus in combination with music , dance, singing, dancing and sound and light technology...

The program has a smooth combination of traditional and modern elements.

The program was written and directed by People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation. With a duration of about 100 minutes, the program brings viewers to an artistic space connected by two chapters "The Road We Take" and "Spring Colors of a New Day", with more than 10 unique circus acts with consistent content praising the Party, the country and traditional Vietnamese culture.

The opening performance was “The Road We Take” to the tune of the song “The Party is My Life”, bringing a pleasing combination of images of the Party flag, the national flag, combined with lion dance, silk hat swinging, hooping, acrobatics… creating a vibrant spring atmosphere. The highlight was the appearance of a group of female lotus dancers with large flower petals, combining to create the image of the five snake mascot.

From here, the program opens up the spring space with the Party in all regions. Through performances such as the “Central Highlands Festival” Swing, the mixed animal circus of Mr. Nuoi, ​​the “Son Swing”, the “Highland Festival” Swing, the “Highland Festival” Swing, etc., viewers can explore the spring atmosphere and traditional cultural features. The images of H'Mong boys riding horses, girls holding umbrellas showing off their beauty in traditional costumes, etc. make the spring symphony even more brilliant.

Continuing the program, viewers were immersed in the cheerful atmosphere of the new spring day with performances such as "Basketball bounce net", "Adventure wheel", circus clown, animal circus... The program ended with the performance "Oh Vietnam" with the performance of all 55 artists and actors participating in the program with hoop dancing, lotus dancing, hat swinging...

The program arouses national pride.

People's Artist Tong Toan Thang said: Although the program is political , it will not be dry, but will be very entertaining with many performances and high-tech circus moves. Through this, the audience will better understand the history, cultural traditions and fighting spirit of the nation. This is also a way to preserve and promote cultural and historical values, encourage the younger generations to learn about traditional history, and foster pride and patriotism.

The circus program to celebrate the Party and celebrate spring will have performances for the public from the 3rd to the 5th day of Lunar New Year (January 31 to February 2, 2025).
