Digital transformation spreads the value of Hon Da Bac, a "historical landmark".

In line with the Ministry of Public Security's policy on promoting digital transformation within the People's Public Security force, as outlined in Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, the Ca Mau Provincial Police have implemented numerous solutions applying modern technology in the dissemination and education of local traditions and the promotion of cultural and historical values.

Particularly noteworthy are the two projects, "Digitizing the Hon Da Bac National Historical Monument" and "Digital Map of the Hon Da Bac National Historical Monument," which demonstrate the innovative, creative, and pioneering spirit of the young police officers of the province in the digital age.

From August 2024, the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department implemented the project "Digitizing the Hon Da Bac National Historical Monument". All information, images, videos , and historical documents of the Monument Area are integrated via QR codes at each tourist attraction. Visitors simply scan the code to access a rich archive of information about the formation process, cultural value, and glorious achievements of the People's Police force.

This solution provides a vivid and engaging visual experience, allowing viewers to access materials in a modern and attractive format, contributing to making Hon Da Bac a "red address" combining revolutionary tradition education with the development of cultural and historical tourism in the Ca Mau Peninsula region.

Following its success, in September 2024, the Youth Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department, in collaboration with Mobifone Ca Mau, launched the Youth Project "Digital Map of Hon Da Bac National Historical Site". Utilizing VR360 Plus virtual reality technology, the project allows for online tours of the entire site, with images, sounds, and automated narration vividly simulating the real-world space. Residents and tourists can access the Ca Mau Provincial Police Department's website or social media platforms to explore anytime, anywhere.

Major Pham Truong An, Head of the Youth Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Police, shared: “The implementation of digital projects is not only a step forward in applying technology to propaganda and traditional education, but also demonstrates the pioneering and creative spirit of the young police officers in the province in the era of digital transformation. This is how we spread pride, foster patriotism, and inspire a desire to contribute in the digital age.”

Through digital maps, images of the Hon Da Bac Historical Site, commemorating the resounding victory in the CM12 counter-intelligence plan, are conveyed to the public from a modern and engaging perspective. Visitors can explore the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, the Mausoleum of Ông, the People's Police Museum, and many other sites, thereby deeply appreciating the historical, cultural, and revolutionary spirit of the heroic land of Ca Mau.

After implementation, the two projects recorded over 136,000 visits, with more than 70 groups of students, officials, and soldiers visiting for sightseeing, learning, political activities, and tourism. These figures demonstrate the practical effectiveness of applying digital technology in preserving and promoting historical relics in the southernmost region of the country.

These projects not only enhance the tourism experience and traditional education, but also demonstrate the pioneering role of the young police officers of Ca Mau province in the comprehensive digital transformation of the People's Police force, linking digital technology with propaganda, serving the people, and spreading revolutionary cultural and historical values.

The delegation from Emulation Cluster No. 05 of the Ministry of Public Security visited, participated in political activities, and studied at the Hon Da Bac National Historical Relic Site.

With the achievements made, the Hon Da Bac National Historical Site is increasingly becoming an attractive, modern, and friendly tourist destination, while continuing to be a "red address" in political education and revolutionary traditions for cadres, soldiers, and the people.

These digital transformation projects not only revive the glorious historical values ​​but also open up new directions in preserving and promoting historical sites using digital technology, demonstrating the strong transformation of the People's Public Security force in the digital age, where technology becomes a bridge between tradition and modernity, between history and the future.
