Ancient Vietnamese people chose the land of Dong Son based on harmonious feng shui principles. The village, situated in a valley, is considered to represent the yin element, while the surrounding mountains represent the yang element. This is considered a harmonious balance of yin and yang, bringing good feng shui to Dong Son village. One of the beautiful and relatively well-preserved ancient houses is that of the late Mr. Vuong Trong Due. This is the oldest house in the village.
