The story of "The precious turtle in sacred land"

Following the success of her book "Stories from Ho Guom Lake" nine years ago, journalist Ha Hong has just released her new work "Precious Turtles in Sacred Land" (Hanoi Publishing House).

The book focuses on the story of turtles in Hoan Kiem Lake. Through various perspectives—legend, history, spirituality, and decades of scientific research—author Ha Hong provides readers with fascinating knowledge and stories. The book includes approximately 140 narrative stories and 800 photographs taken by Ha Hong herself, depicting the scenery and people around Hoan Kiem Lake, especially turtles surfacing; turtles basking in the sun near the Turtle Tower; and the process of preparing specimens after the death of "Grandpa Turtle"...
