According to the investigation, the bride and groom in the video are Tran Thi Phuong Linh (born 1999, from Binh Duong) and Abe Kazuma (born 1982, Japan), currently living and working in Tokyo, Japan. Their wedding ceremony took place on November 24.

Phuong Linh said she is 1m46 tall, and her husband, Kazuma, is 1m93 tall. There is also a big age difference between the two, the bride is 17 years younger than her husband.

The couple's love story, which has a huge age and appearance difference, began in 2022, when Linh was a student at a university in Japan.

During the summer vacation, to improve her Japanese and gain life experience, Linh applied for a part-time job at a testing center. This is also where Kazuma worked for many years.

The first time they met, Kazuma's "huge" height, cold face and "fierce" way of speaking made Linh feel apprehensive. But after a few conversations, she found the "uncle" in his 40s quite interesting and humorous.

They met many times on the train to work. Kazuma took the initiative to help Linh, occasionally cracking jokes to make her laugh. He also took the initiative to learn Vietnamese so he could communicate with Linh in his mother tongue.

“I worked here for 2 months and then quit. On the last working day, he invited me to a farewell party. Unexpectedly, the day we parted ways was the day our relationship continued because that day, he confessed his love,” Linh said.

Phuong Linh admitted that the age gap once made her hesitate. But seeing Kazuma's sincere feelings and feeling his obvious change since they met, she decided to give them both a chance.

“At first glance at his appearance and the way he spoke, I thought he was only 30 years old. When I found out his real age, I was a bit shocked,” Linh said with a laugh.

After 2 years of love, the girl from Binh Duong has more confidence in this relationship. Mr. Kazuma is always gentle, giving in to his wife in all situations, and is willing to learn to cook for his wife.

Because of the obvious height difference, the couple attracts a lot of attention every time they go out. Many times, Kazuma surprises passersby with his outstanding height.

“Once we went to the amusement park, we really wanted to ride the roller coaster, but because he was too tall, we had to sadly pass it up,” Linh said.

Phuong Linh and Kazuma's love story was very smooth. Right from the first time she came to meet them, Linh felt the love her future in-laws had for her.

Since then, Linh was like the little daughter of the family, loved by Kazuma's parents. They cooked delicious food for her, always remembering her preferences to pamper her.

As for her family, Linh was worried that they would be opposed because of language and cultural differences, and a large age gap.

“But on the contrary, my parents were reassured because they saw that he was gentle and funny. Last Tet, I brought him back to Vietnam to meet my family, and he took the opportunity to ask for my hand in marriage,” Linh shared.

The couple decided to hold their wedding in Vietnam so that the groom's family could experience the culture and wedding customs of the bride's family. Kazuma's parents, relatives and close friends in Japan all attended.

“My husband and I are busy with work so we are still thinking about having a wedding in Japan,” Linh added.
