Recently, a clip recording a female teacher and two female elementary school students dancing gracefully like professional dancers has been spread on social networks. On Facebook alone, this lively clip has attracted more than 3 million views and hundreds of comments and shares. "Cute", "lovely",... are the consecutive comments for this clip.
Many people expressed their delight at the performance of the teacher and her students. Many also gave her compliments.
Reader Nguyen Huong commented: “When will all schools have teachers like this? Children will not feel pressured when going to school.”
Reader Binh Minh shared: “The teacher is so full of energy. The students are also very cute. School is so much fun.”
Reader Thuc Nguyen wrote: “As someone who has not been to school for long, I think this is a good thing. Children now have to study a lot, even a lot in the plains and urban areas, so if teachers can be close to them and create more joy for them, it should be considered a blessing. For young students, alternating study and break will help them absorb knowledge more easily than full-time study.”
However, a few people are concerned about whether "following trends" will affect children's thoughts, ideas, and habits.
Through VietNamNet 's investigation, the clip was recorded at Hoang Long Primary School, Long Anh Ward, Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province.
Talking to VietNamNet reporter, Ms. Le Thi Lien, teacher at Hoang Long Primary School (Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province), the character in the clip, said she was very surprised when her image suddenly attracted a lot of attention.
The clip was recorded during recess at school a few days ago. The two students dancing with her are third graders.
“Actually, my original goal was to create a memory of the teacher and student, an activity that spreads positive energy. A lot of likes is fine, but not many likes is also not important,” Ms. Lien said, adding that this was not the first clip she had recorded and posted on social media.
Ms. Lien said that she used to be an Art teacher at the school. In the context of the school lacking PhysicalEducation teachers, she was assigned to teach 5 periods/week.
Liking and having a passion for this activity, in addition to teaching at school, Ms. Lien often practices modern dance and Zumba. She also watches dances online and if she likes them, she will practice them.
Ms. Lien shared that to have a performance like the clip, she and her students only spent about 10 minutes practicing together. "The students are good and catch on very quickly," she shared.
Ms. Lien said that during recess, she wants students to have more organized fun activities than just chasing each other.
She also wants to spend time with her students during recess. “Through play activities, I can see how the children live and act, talk and confide in them, and thereby understand their feelings,” said Ms. Lien.
The teacher said that during the Physical Education course, sometimes, if a class has good awareness, she will "reward" it by letting the whole class play an interesting game or practice a dance. Ms. Lien also regularly supports the school's group dance activities.
“I hope that, in addition to studying cultural subjects, students will exercise more to reduce pressure, stress and develop comprehensively both intellectually and physically,” Ms. Lien shared.
