Rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks, flooding the market with green and purple hues. In particular, real estate and securities stocks "woke up," reviving the market.

The Vietnamese stock market continued its strong recovery on September 20th, with most stocks across various sectors rising simultaneously. Specifically, after a brief correction, real estate stocks rebounded strongly, contributing to the overall market rally.

Among them, NVL and HDC hit the ceiling price; BCM increased by 2.94%, KBC by 2.84%, KDH by 4.41%, PDR by 4.65%, DIG by 3.28%, DXG by 4.29%, SJS by 6.78%, CII by 3.44%, and ITA by 3.54%. In addition, the three Vingroup companies also saw strong gains with VHM increasing by 2.74%, VIC by 3.48%, and VRE by 1.81%...

Securities stocks also rose positively, with ORS hitting the ceiling price, VND increasing by 2.02%, VCI by 4.84%, HCM by 1.88%, FTS by 2.71%, VIX by 5.05%, BSI by 3.57%, and so on.

The banking sector showed mixed performance but also leaned towards positive gains. Some large-cap stocks like VCB, CTG, SSB, and STB saw slight declines of around 1-1.2%; while others rose, including BID (up 1.11%), TCB (up 1.33%), MBB (up 1.05%), VIB (up 1.45%), TPB (up 2.36%), EIB (up 2.17%), andOCB (up 3.94%).

Not only the aforementioned sectors, but many other sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and energy also saw strong gains. Among them, manufacturing stocks like GIL and ANV also hit their upper limit.

At the close of trading, the VN-Index rose 14.61 points (1.21%) to 1,226.11 points, with 419 gainers, 91 losers, and 63 unchanged stocks. On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index increased 4.6 points (1.84%) to 254.82 points, with 136 gainers, 52 losers, and 59 unchanged stocks. Liquidity decreased by nearly 3,000 billion VND compared to the previous day, with the total trading value across the market exceeding 23,100 billion VND. Foreign investors net sold nearly 217 billion VND on the HOSE.
