Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung, Chief of O Dien Commune Police, said that in recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 10 causing heavy rain, many rice fields in the area that were ready for harvest were broken.

To support people, especially families with elderly, single people, and labor shortages, to urgently harvest the fallen rice fields early to ensure productivity and quality, the Commune Police directed the Youth Union to arrange forces to go to the fields to help farmers.

On October 2, the Youth Union of O Dien Commune Police mobilized more than 20 union members and young people to help households in Lien Ha area with broken rice fields to harvest all the area and transport them to a safe place.

According to the Chief of Police of O Dien Commune, Nguyen Manh Hung, in the coming days, the Commune Police will continue to arrange forces to help people harvest rice. This is not only an action to support people to overcome difficulties, but also contributes to enhancing the noble qualities of the People's Police in the new era.
