Meanwhile, the price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline, as previously announced by Petrolimex , is 23,730 VND/liter and 24,200 VND/liter in the two regions, respectively.
Petrolimex stated that the price of E10 RON 95-V bioethanol fuel announced by Petrolimex is applied at its distribution system, including: Petrolimex's small-scale gas stations and fuel dispensing points; Petrolimex's agent and general agent gas stations; and Petrolimex's franchised retail outlets.
For areas far from ports, main depots, and petroleum production facilities (referred to as Zone 2 according to regulations), the General Director of Petrolimex authorizes the directors of Petrolimex's member petroleum companies to directly determine the actual selling price in their business areas, but this price must not exceed the Zone 2 price mentioned above.
According to Petrolimex, the decision on fuel prices has been sent to all Petrolimex member units and reported to the Government Office , the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Petrolimex member units, when issuing decisions on retail gasoline and diesel prices in their distribution systems, must send the issued price decisions to the Department of Industry and Trade of the province/city and the corporation for reporting.
Currently, E5RON92 gasoline is trading at 23,790 VND/liter. RON95-III gasoline is priced at 24,354 VND/liter.
According to the roadmap for the deployment of biofuels, the sale of E10 gasoline will be mandatory nationwide from June 1, 2026. Currently, businesses are accelerating the implementation process.
Regarding the price of E10 gasoline, in a previous interview with Tien Phong newspaper, a representative from the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade , stated that the regulatory body's orientation is to ensure that this type of fuel has a clear advantage over conventional gasoline. The goal is not only to introduce E10 to the market, but also to create a strong enough economic incentive for consumers to proactively choose it.
According to calculations, the reasonable price difference between E10 and RON95 gasoline is projected to be around 1,000-2,000 VND/liter, just enough to attract consumers while ensuring a balance of interests between the State, businesses, and the people. Beyond relying solely on tax measures, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is also considering reviewing the entire supply chain, from blending and transportation to distribution, in order to reduce costs and enhance the competitiveness of E10.
