Vietnam Medical Trade Union pays tribute to war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 23, the Ministry of Health coordinated with the Vietnam Health Trade Union and Nghia Tru commune to organize a meeting to pay tribute to war invalids, sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the revolution. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health; Lai Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee.

At the ceremony, the delegation of the Ministry of Health , Vietnam Health Trade Union, leaders of Hung Yen province, and sponsors presented 953 gifts and cash, with a total value of 500 million VND, to show gratitude to war invalids, sick soldiers, and families with revolutionary contributions in Nghia Tru commune.   This is an activity expressing the deep gratitude of the health sector to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Comrade Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health and Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to express gratitude to war invalids, sick soldiers and people with revolutionary contributions.

Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly asked about the health and sent gifts of gratitude to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions.

Currently , the Vietnam Medical Trade Union is widely implementing the program "Medical staff with meritorious people" nationwide. The program includes many practical contents such as: organizing a team of volunteer doctors to examine, provide rehabilitation advice, and provide free medicine to meritorious people; visiting and giving gifts to policy families; mobilizing social resources to build and repair houses of gratitude, etc.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Health and Hung Yen province expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and losses of previous generations, and wished the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions a happy and healthy life, always being a shining example for the younger generation to follow.
