Ngon Coffee Company Limited launched a response to the Month of Action for Occupational Safety and Health.

The company has a large production scale, equipped with many modern machines and equipment, which poses a potential risk of accidents to workers caused by machinery.

Based on the assessment and identification of potential risks in the production process, the company periodically organizes instructions and training on occupational safety, fully equipping employees with knowledge of production processes, occupational safety regulations and safety measures during the use of machinery and equipment. During the working process, 100% of employees and workers are equipped with personal protective equipment, protective glasses, masks, protective clothing, gloves and protective shoes. The company's leaders check and seriously remind employees to apply the occupational safety procedures correctly and strictly comply with them throughout the production process.

Mr. Nguyen Giang Nam, working in the company's mechanical maintenance department, said that the company always cares about improving working conditions, regularly organizes training, raises safety awareness, builds a safety culture in each workshop, thereby raising the awareness of workers, all have a sense of responsibility, ensuring safety for their own lives and health during the production and business process. Since its establishment in 2009, the company's labor safety situation has been increasingly improved, minimizing serious labor accidents.

Also on the basis of identifying potential risks and hazards that may occur during the production process, including the possibility of fire, in addition to strictly complying with the provisions of the law on fire prevention and fighting, fully equipping modern fire fighting equipment and systems, and implementing the motto "prevention is better than cure", the company has established a grassroots fire prevention team with 40 team members.

Team members are trained in professional skills, proficient in the use of vehicles and equipment, and are ready to respond when a fire or explosion occurs, minimizing property damage.

In addition, every year the company coordinates with the fire prevention and fighting police force to develop fire prevention and rescue drill plans, simulate and propose many fire and explosion situations and coordinate drills to be proficient and ready to deploy when a fire or explosion incident occurs.

Captain Pham Quang Huy, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) highly appreciated the awareness and responsibility of the enterprise in fire prevention and fighting, affirming that Ngon Coffee Company Limited is one of the typical enterprises in fire prevention and fighting at the enterprise.

It is known that during the Action Month on occupational safety and hygiene this year, the company simultaneously implemented many meaningful and practical activities, such as: launching a response, organizing the display of safety tools, equipment and devices for workers to visit, sign commitments, organize a painting contest, quiz with the above theme; training on safe forklift operation, working at height, chemical safety training and fire prevention and fighting drills.
