Long Son Co., Ltd. has been selected for consideration for a clay mine exploration license in Bim Son ward.

The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has just issued Notice No. 205/TB-UBND dated May 19, 2026, regarding the results of selecting organizations and individuals to be considered for granting mineral exploration licenses at the clay mine for cement production in Bim Son ward, Thanh Hoa province.

According to the announcement, the selection was made based on the provisions of the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025; the Law on Geology and Minerals 2024 and related amendments and supplements; and also based on the Government 's decrees guiding the implementation of the Law on Geology and Minerals.

Accordingly, based on the proposal of the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment in Official Letter No. 7280/SNNMT-ĐCKS dated May 13, 2026, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has agreed to select Long Son Co., Ltd. as the unit to be considered for granting a mineral exploration license in the area where no auction for mineral exploitation rights will be held. The type of mineral to be explored is clay for cement production. The exploration area is located in Bim Son ward, Thanh Hoa province, with an area of ​​approximately 25.2 hectares. The map and coordinates of the mining area are attached to the dossier of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to continue publicly posting information about the organization selected for mineral exploration licenses on the provincial electronic information portal and the websites of relevant agencies in accordance with regulations. At the same time, Long Son Co., Ltd. is responsible for completing and supplementing all necessary documents and records as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 36 of Government Decree No. 193/2025/ND-CP dated July 2, 2025, and the amendments and supplements in Decree No. 21/2026/ND-CP dated January 16, 2026, so that the Department of Agriculture and Environment can carry out the procedures for granting mineral exploration licenses in accordance with the law.
