The collaboration between Vietnamese artist and the world's billion-view EDM legend

"Die Alone" is considered a special collaboration in the history of Vietnamese electronic music (EDM).

Hoaprox - once known as the "Golden Boy" of Vietnamese EDM - had the opportunity to join hands with K-391 and Nick Strand (member of Seeb group).

K-391 owns many songs familiar to Vietnamese audiences, such as "Summertime", "Ignite", "Lily" or "End of Time". Meanwhile, Nick Strand is the owner of the hit "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" with 1.8 billion listens on Spotify.

In addition, the production team for the song "Die Alone" also included musician Erik Smaaland - who wrote lyrics for many of Alan Walker's products and many producers in the EDM industry.

According to Hoaprox, there were more than 10 producers, musicians, sound engineers and singers participating in the production of the song "Die Alone".

Initially, Hoaprox and Nick Strand decided to collaborate. Then, K-391 agreed to participate, polishing the song to perfection. After nearly a year, they decided to release the song.

“This is a milestone for my career. I think it is a reward for myself, after 10 years of persistently pursuing EDM. I have gone through every step, from the milestone of being signed to major EDM companies, to the song "With You", working with Nick Strand, Mio, Erik Smaaland and this time collaborating with K-391,” said Hoaprox.

"Die Alone" tells the story of a girl who is deeply in love and wants to make an effort to be with her other half.

In 2020, Hoaprox collaborated with two Norwegian producers - Nick Strand and Mio - to release the MV "With You", causing an explosion in the Vietnamese electronic music community.

Previously, the collaborations between Son Tung - Snoop Dogg or Vu - Lukas Graham were also memorable milestones of Vietnamese music.

Hoaprox (real name Nguyen Thai Hoa) is the owner of the hit "Ngau hung", which attracted billions of streams on China's social network Douyin. Besides, "Vo tinh", "With You", "Saviour" are also notable products of Hoaprox.

K-391's real name is Kenneth Osberg Nilsen, born in 1994. He is a Norwegian DJ and music producer, owner of many hit songs, considered a perfect pair with Alan Walker.

K-391's "Summertime" was a global sensation nearly 10 years ago and has recently become popular again on TikTok. "Lily" is also a standout product of this talented producer. The song has nearly 400 million plays on Spotify.

Throughout his career, K-391 has always accompanied Alan Walker. Notably, K-391 stood behind and pushed Alan Walker to complete the super hit "Faded", attracting more than 3.5 billion views on YouTube.
