Voters in Dai Ngai have raised many issues concerning people's lives.

(CT) - On June 1st, at the Dai Ngai Commune Cultural House, Delegation Group No. 10 of the Can Tho City People's Council held a meeting with voters ahead of the 2026 mid-year regular session of the City People's Council. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Huynh Thi Diem Ngoc, City Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dai Ngai Commune, and Head of Delegation Group No. 10 of the Can Tho City People's Council, and Mr. Lam Thanh Vinh, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the City People's Council.

During the meeting, representatives of the delegation informed voters about the planned program and content of the mid-year regular session in 2026; and reported on the results of the City People's Council's activities in the first six months of the year.

At the conference, voters in Dai Ngai commune raised many issues of concern to the people. These included complaints about the continuously rising prices of agricultural supplies and pesticides, which increase production costs. Some also mentioned difficulties in the process of applying for citizen identification cards; and the inadequate electricity and clean water supply in some areas. They also requested that relevant authorities invest in upgrading and repairing several roads to facilitate travel and goods transportation.

Voters also made recommendations regarding policies and regulations for part-time community workers; voluntary social insurance; land reclamation and resettlement; investment in infrastructure and equipment for commune health stations; and many other issues related to social welfare.

After receiving feedback, representatives from the commune's People's Committee and relevant departments directly addressed and clarified issues within their authority. For issues beyond their authority, the City People's Council delegation recorded, compiled, and forwarded them to the relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in the future.
