Emulation Cluster No. 7

This morning, November 29th, in Dong Ha City, Cluster No. 7 of the Ministry of Public Security, comprising five provinces: Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh, held a conference to summarize the "For National Security" emulation movement in 2024. Major General Le Hong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work of the Ministry of Public Security, and Ly Kieu Van, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, attended the conference.

In 2024, the police forces of the provinces in Emulation Cluster No. 7 made efforts to innovate and create, linking the "For National Security" emulation movement with other emulation movements and campaigns launched by the central and local authorities. This created strong changes in awareness and actions, motivating officers and soldiers to enthusiastically compete to achieve merits, excellently completing all aspects of work, and effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the localities.

In particular, the police forces of the five provinces have focused on effectively combating various types of crime, especially criminal offenses, drug-related crimes, high-tech crimes, and inter-provincial and inter-regional organized crime; preventing the formation of criminal gangs; and achieving an investigation and case resolution rate of over 80%.

Continue to effectively implement Government Project 06 on the development of population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation, giai đoạn 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030. State management of security and order has been strengthened, and its quality and effectiveness have been improved; no major fires or explosions causing serious damage have occurred.

The nationwide movement to protect national security continues to be widely implemented with many advanced models and exemplary cases. Administrative reform is being effectively implemented by various units. Party building and force building are prioritized by the provincial police leadership; internal unity and cohesion are strong; and the rate of officers and soldiers committing violations and being disciplined is low.

At the conference, representatives from units within the emulation cluster discussed and shared best practices and innovative approaches in implementing and enhancing the effectiveness of the "For National Security" emulation movement; they also pointed out existing shortcomings and limitations, and outlined directions for overcoming them in the future to promote the emulation movement's development in a more widespread and effective manner.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, Major General Le Hong Hiep, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive results achieved by the police forces of the provinces in Emulation Cluster No. 7.

The Provincial Police Departments are requested to continue to unite, promote, and improve the quality of the "For National Security" emulation movement, ensuring its practicality and effectiveness; focusing on commending and replicating advanced models to create motivation for emulation among officers and soldiers, contributing to the effective implementation of tasks to ensure political security and social order in the area, and serving the socio-economic development of the locality.

On this occasion, Cluster No. 7 organized a vote to honor the emulation titles of the police forces of the provinces in the cluster and handed over the leadership of the Cluster for 2025 to the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department.
