Celebrating Tet with businesses, HDBank launches additional 0% interest rate credit package

The program runs from now until February 29, 2024, and is for new customers or existing customers who need additional loans. The preferential interest rate is 0%/year fixed for the first month, and for subsequent months, HDBank applies a preferential interest rate of 6.7%/year.

This is a follow-up to the successful 0% interest rate credit package (Phase 1) that HDBank launched from December 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024 (for SMEs and payroll purposes). With this VND 5,000 billion credit package, HDBank is creating opportunities for new or existing corporate customers to access affordable and flexible capital in Phase 2.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, businesses are experiencing a surge in demand for cash, payments, debt settlements, and capital for inventory and production to serve the market. HDBank's new credit package, along with its ongoing preferential policies, meets these needs, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development. This initiative aligns with the government and State Bank of Vietnam's commitment to supporting growth, stabilizing the macroeconomy, and controlling inflation; demonstrating a spirit of collaboration and support for businesses and individuals to operate efficiently and improve their living standards.

Along with preferential credit packages, HDBank is continuing to implement a policy of supporting borrowers facing difficulties by restructuring repayment terms and maintaining the same debt classification in accordance with Circular 02/2023/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam. By the end of 2023, HDBank had restructured 1,600 billion VND of debt for customers and 1,400 billion VND of debt had been repaid by customers after restructuring.

HDBank has also actively implemented the interest rate support program according to Government Decree 31/2022/ND-CP, with a total interest rate support volume reaching VND 6,000 billion by the end of 2023. HD SAISON - a finance company under HDBank - has accelerated the implementation of the VND 10,000 billion preferential loan package for workers and employees.

By the end of 2023, HDBank had met its credit growth target set by the State Bank of Vietnam, with total outstanding loans reaching over 337,000 billion VND.

According to HDBank's leadership, in the coming period, the bank will continue to implement effective credit growth solutions, promote capital flows and preferential programs into priority sectors and sectors that create momentum for economic growth in line with the direction of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam.
