Great opportunity for business households to transform into enterprises

According to the Tax Department, in the first half of 2025, 1,474 business households completed the conversion to enterprise models, an increase of 18% over the same period last year. At the same time, about 110,000 business households registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers, showing an increasingly clear trend of standardizing operations.

On a broad scale, the startup environment continues to be vibrant. In the first 8 months of 2025, the country had about 128,000 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of over 1.25 quadrillion VND, affirming that the market is strongly welcoming the wave of business transformation and establishment.

In fact, to promote the transformation, the National Assembly has approved a preferential tax rate of 15% - 17% for businesses with total revenue of no more than 50 billion VND/year, lower than the standard rate of 20%. In addition, business households when becoming small and medium enterprises are also exempted from tax for the first 3 years of operation. This is considered a 'golden opportunity' for business households to boldly step into a professional and sustainable business environment.

Ms. Le Hai Duong, owner of a printing shop in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “Large customers such as schools and government agencies often require VAT invoices. If we were just a business household, it would be difficult for us to meet the requirements. I want to become a business to have full documents, access capital easily and expand the scale.

However, when we started to learn, we encountered many obstacles: legal procedures were complicated, the costs were not small, while our knowledge of business administration, accounting and taxes was limited." Ms. Duong's story reflects the needs of many businesses today, they recognize the opportunities from conversion but are still hesitant about new procedures, costs and management methods.

Sacombank commits to accompany business households in conversion

Previously, I was very worried about the procedures and costs. But Sacombank supported me in opening a free business account, guided me in using online services and even suggested suitable management software. Thanks to that, I saved a lot of time and felt more confident in managing my business.”

Thanks to that, newly established businesses can operate smoothly and conveniently without worrying about the burden of initial investment costs.

In terms of capital, Sacombank has designed many flexible financial solutions to provide timely support to business households when they convert into enterprises. Specifically, in the first year of conversion, Sacombank continues to provide credit based on the assessment of the previous financial and operational situation of the business household, helping businesses avoid interruptions in capital flow in the post-conversion period. Businesses can not only quickly access working capital but can also be granted overdraft limits and credit card limits without collateral.

The credit package is prioritized for the fields of import and export, agriculture - forestry - fishery, green economy or businesses using capital to invest in infrastructure and digital technology, digital transformation in business operations .
