Speaking with Phu Yen Newspaper, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hien, Deputy Director of Phu Yen Department of Health said:
- The Month of Action for Children 2025 takes place from June 1-30, with the theme: "Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children". This is a strong call for all levels, sectors, organizations and individuals to join hands to pay the most practical attention and care to children - the future generation of the country.
The Month of Action for Children is also an opportunity for the community to demonstrate their sense of responsibility and love for children, joining hands with the Party and local authorities at all levels to create a strong change in awareness, action and enhance social responsibility in children's work. At the same time, it is an opportunity for each of us to pay more attention and give priority to children, so that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have the opportunity to go to school and access qualityeducation . From the lowlands to the highlands or on remote islands, children have access to social services, enjoy social security policies and have fun and entertainment in the safest, most friendly and healthy environment. Everyone joins hands to contribute to repelling problems that have negative impacts on children.

* Can you tell us about the results of the implementation of child protection, care and education work in our province in recent times?
- With the view of giving the best to children, in recent times, Phu Yen has implemented many solutions to promote the care, education and protection of children; prioritizing many resources to care for the young buds of the homeland and country.
Many activities for children are widely deployed by departments, branches and localities such as: Organizing the Month of Action for Children, Children's Forum, Mid-Autumn Festival; ensuring a safe living environment, preventing accidents, injuries, drowning, child abuse and violence; visiting, giving gifts, praising poor children and children in special circumstances who are exemplary in their spirit of overcoming difficulties and excelling in their studies; praising exemplary groups and individuals who are dedicated to contributing and dedicating themselves to the work of caring for, educating and protecting children. At the same time, maintaining the child protection system in the community in communes, wards and towns; consolidating and perfecting the child protection committees at the commune, ward and town levels and the team of child collaborators in villages, hamlets and neighborhoods.
The Month of Action for Children is not only a communication campaign, but also an opportunity for the whole society to show its deep concern for the future generation. This is a concrete action to contribute to building a prosperous and happy country - where all children can live, study and develop in a safe and loving environment.
All levels, sectors and localities fully and promptly implement the State's policies and regimes for social protection beneficiaries, create conditions for them to access information and communication, legal aid, participate in cultural and sports activities..., create healthy playgrounds, help children have conditions to integrate into community life...
In addition, through the Children's Support Fund, many activities such as heart surgery, orthopedic surgery for children with motor disabilities, scholarship support, bicycles, school supplies, milk for children in special circumstances have reached more than 2,800 children in the whole province.
* During this year's Children's Action Month, what activities does the Department of Health plan to implement so that children can live in a safer environment, madam?
- In order to ensure that all children fully exercise their rights, the Health sector advises the Provincial People's Committee to continue to deploy and organize activities to raise awareness among people, authorities at all levels and the whole society about the care, nurturing and protection of children. Accordingly, during the Month of Action for Children, departments and branches will coordinate to deploy activities such as: Visiting and giving gifts to children in difficult circumstances who are being cared for and nurtured at social protection facilities and localities. Organizing propaganda on child protection and care, prevention of accidents, injuries, child abuse... on the media. Direct communication at schools, residential communities; visual propaganda on main roads... about the Month of Action for Children.
The Month of Action for Children is not only a communication campaign, but also an opportunity for the whole society to show its deep concern for the future generation.
