The exhibition "Young Artists - Da Nang 2025" will be held at the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts from August 26th to September 25th.
This is a meaningful art event, organized for the second time (the first in 2023), aiming to showcase the works of young artists from Da Nang and Hue . This time, from 70 submitted works, the organizing committee selected 40 works by 26 young artists created over the past two years.
According to Nguyen Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, the exhibited works are diverse in materials and styles, ranging from silk, oil paint, lacquer to acrylic and graphic art… Each work reflects a fresh perspective on people, homeland, and country in the era of integration and development.
"The exhibition not only serves the public during an important national holiday, but also creates opportunities for young artists to interact, connect, and share experiences."
"This inspires and motivates young artists to create, contributing to affirming the vitality and position of fine art in contemporary cultural and social life," Ms. Trinh expressed.

Participating in the young artists' exhibition for the second time, artist Ha Chau (born in 1990, Da Nang city) presents to the public the work "The Old House," an oil painting created in 2025.
From the very first glance, the work impresses with its intertwining of "art within art," where painting and sculpture are both visible, and especially the artist's passion and pure love for fine art.
“Art is not an easy journey; it requires perseverance and a constant pursuit of learning new and unique techniques and styles from colleagues and前辈s. I believe that with this learning, young artists will have a diverse perspective on the beauty of life, develop their own style, and create heartfelt works that touch the emotions of viewers,” said artist Ha Chau.
Art enthusiasts praised the exhibition for its youthful, fresh, and vibrant atmosphere. Through each artwork, viewers could sense meaningful messages about human life and the deep affection the artists had for the land and people of their Central Vietnam homeland.

Mr. Nguyen Hanh from An Khe ward shared: “As an art lover, I am very impressed with the works of the young artists at this exhibition. Despite their youth, the artists have shown a rich perspective, approaching the subject matter from many angles, demonstrating passion, perseverance, and a constant effort to explore and create art. With this generation, I believe that the art scene in Da Nang and Hue will experience remarkable development in the future, in parallel with the art movement at both ends of the country.”
According to artist Than Trong Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang City Fine Arts Association, with this exhibition, young artists have a liberal approach to the subject matter, and their works are diverse and very profound.
In particular, many artists explore and create works using folk materials and the cultural identity of their homeland. This demonstrates the persistent artistic spirit, love for their homeland, and aspiration to contribute of the young generation of artists in Da Nang and Hue.
“Young artists in Central Vietnam, including Da Nang and Hue, have great potential for development. The works of these young artists are gradually making their mark, gaining widespread public acceptance, and contributing to the future of art in the region and the country,” artist Than Trong Dung assessed.
