“I am the ocean, the source of life on this planet. I have existed for billions of years, regulating the climate, providing oxygen to the earth and the environment, and nurturing millions of creatures. Each beat of my life is a blood vessel that regulates life. But today I am seriously injured”... These emotional lines of the letter helped Nguyen Ngoc Bao Anh, a 5A student at Lam Son Town Primary School (Tho Xuan) become one of two students who won the first prize at the provincial level at the 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition. In the letter, she transformed into the ocean, a creature that knows joy and sadness, endures and dares to stand up and call on the community and society to protect her.
Nguyen Ngoc Bao Anh shared: "I am very proud to have won first prize in the contest, however, the award is not what I expected the most. What I want is to make it so that when standing in front of the sea, people not only think about tourism , but also think about their own responsibility for this life. Therefore, I am trying and studying hard to become a teacher in the future to be able to spread the message of environmental protection to my students."
