The "Future Designer" 2025 competition has found two winners.

The "Future Designer" 2025 competition awarded Special Prizes to two outstanding contestants: Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (Class 3E1, Archimedes Academy Primary School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Le Thuy Linh (Class 6A3, Mao Khe II Secondary School, Quang Ninh).

The "Future Designer" 2025 competition, organized by the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper, designer Yen Nhi, and other collaborating units, aims to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh ; and to welcome the 10th National Congress of Exemplary Children of Uncle Ho - 2025.

After two months of launching, the organizing committee received more than 1,000 entries from "young designers" aged 6 to 15 nationwide, especially including many children from remote provinces, ethnic minority students, and children with special health conditions.

All the designs in the competition shared the same theme: "Imagine yourself as a delegate attending the 10th National Congress of Exemplary Children of Uncle Ho and design an outfit that expresses your love for your homeland, Vietnam, to wear to the Congress."

The organizing committee selected 50 entries to participate in the national final awards gala of the competition, which took place on August 2nd in Hanoi . Of these, 24 outstanding entries received support to realize their designs and showcase their self-created products on the gala stage.

Two Special Prizes were awarded to Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (Class 3E1, Archimedes Academy Primary School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Le Thuy Linh (Class 6A3, Mao Khe II Secondary School, Quang Ninh ), who received certificates of merit from the Central Youth Union Council. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, Third, and Fourth prizes, along with "Promising," "Impressive Design," "Environmentally Friendly Design," and "Fulfilling Dreams" awards for outstanding ideas that conveyed positive, creative, and unique messages.

Sharing her thoughts after winning the award, Nguyen Le Thuy Linh said: “I had ideas for many different designs, but in the end, I chose the work “Wings of the Peacock Unleashing a New Era” to participate in the competition. I hope my work can spread many positive values ​​about the image of contemporary Vietnamese costumes to everyone.”

Commenting on the winning entries, designer Yen Ngo, a member of the competition's organizing committee, said: "Each artwork tells a unique story, reflecting the unique, imaginative, and subtle perspectives of the young artists on the world around them. Through this program, the organizing committee hopes to inspire a positive spirit of learning and creativity in children, expressing their love for their homeland through the simple things around them."

After the final awards gala, all 24 outstanding costumes from the competition will be auctioned off. The proceeds will be donated to the "Library for Nurturing Dreams" project initiated by the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and nurturing dreams for many disadvantaged children across the country.
