Many works convey memories, nostalgia, attachment, love, and longing for Hanoi, expressing perspectives, thoughts, concerns, hopes, and expectations for building the capital,” journalist Vuong Minh Hue assessed.
From nearly 400 entries, the judging panel unanimously selected 10 outstanding works out of 30 finalists to award prizes. The First Prize went to "Hanoi in My Heart Has a Bridge and a River" by Dao Thi Thu Hien (Hanoi); the two Second Prizes went to "Old Quarter: Nostalgia and Love" by Tra Mi (Hanoi) and "My Handbook - Hanoi Has Been Here for a Long Time" by Moc Nhien ( Thai Nguyen ).
