In recent times, Da Bac district has focused on implementing well the guidance and direction documents of superiors on preventing and combating corruption and negative acts, while at the same time deploying various forms and preventive measures. Thanks to that, it has brought positive results, preventing violations related to corruption and negative acts in the locality.

According to comrade Hoang Van Dam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Bac District Party Committee, to improve the effectiveness of anti-corruption and negative work, the district has implemented synchronous solutions and preventive measures. In particular, focusing on improving the effectiveness of propaganda work, educating law-breaking, raising awareness of party members, cadres, civil servants, public employees and people about anti-corruption. Effectively implementing the Anti-Corruption Law, practicing thrift, fighting waste and guiding documents on anti-corruption of the Central and the province... So that cadres and civil servants in the whole district can properly perform their assigned duties and tasks, actively implementing the agency's action program on anti-corruption.
The district has developed and implemented well the action programs on anti-corruption. In particular, the District People's Committee directed departments, offices, communes and towns to strictly implement the publicity and transparency in handling administrative procedures, budget estimates, bidding for works and projects with capital from the State budget; publicize planning, plans, lists, and investment capital sources; publicize and be transparent in land management, use, land recovery, site clearance, recruitment, planning, training, rotation, and appointment of officials. Maintain well the autonomy and self-responsibility regime for finance and staffing; develop internal spending regulations, regulations on management and use of public assets; periodically transfer work positions according to Decree No. 59/2019/ND-CP for agencies and units under the District People's Committee. In 2023, the District People's Committee transferred 2 positions and 33 accounting positions in schools.
Along with that, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee directed the subordinate Party cells and committees to seriously implement the declaration of assets according to regulations. As a result, 440 people declared their assets and made public their declarations of assets and income, reaching 100%. At the same time, Party committees and heads of agencies, organizations and units strictly implemented regulations on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members, especially key leaders, and regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do...
The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the district have promoted their role and performed the task of supervising state agencies; organized mailboxes for people to participate in denouncing and detecting corruption; received and classified citizens' petitions to promptly forward and make recommendations to state agencies, and at the same time supervised the settlement of recommendations. The member organizations of the Front actively propagated and disseminated the Party and State's regulations on anti-corruption and negativity to members, members and people. Some agencies and units have developed internal codes of conduct, encouraged cadres and party members to commit to not engaging in corruption; strongly condemned acts of corruption, negativity and waste. Thanks to that, the vast majority of cadres and civil servants in the district have properly performed their assigned duties and tasks.
In 2023, the district authorities conducted inspections and examinations on the responsibility for implementing legal regulations on receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations and anti-corruption in 5 communes: Tien Phong, Nanh Nghe, Dong Chum, Trung Thanh, Hien Luong. Through inspections and examinations, no individuals, agencies or units were found to have committed acts of corruption, waste or negativity.
