Da Nang announces major tourism project seeking investment in 2026.

(NLDO) - Da Nang has just announced a list of large-scale tourism, eco-tourism, and resort projects to attract investment and develop the local economy.

The projects are concentrated in Hai Van ward and other localities belonging to the former Quang Nam province.

In Hai Van ward, the city is calling for investment in projects including the Chim Chim Hill eco-tourism area, the tourism area east of the Hai Van Pass road, and the tourism area west of the bypass road. These projects aim to exploit the advantages of the natural landscape and develop eco-tourism and resort tourism.

In Hai Van ward, the city is calling for investment in 3 tourist areas.

In the former Quang Nam region, many large-scale tourism projects have also been included in the list of projects open for investment. Among them, the Duy Son hydroelectric power plant eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment complex project in Phu Nham Dong village, Duy Xuyen commune, covers approximately 70 hectares and aims to create a resort and entertainment destination, contributing to improved land use efficiency, job creation, and increased local government revenue.

The Dong Tien Lake eco-tourism project in Dong Duong commune covers an area of ​​approximately 25 hectares, oriented towards developing a community-based eco-tourism model with low construction density, prioritizing green spaces and water features.

In Nong Son commune, the Son Vien hot spring area is being developed by the city to attract investors for a project covering approximately 463 hectares, with the aim of transforming it into a high-quality tourist, resort, wellness, and medical treatment center.

In addition, the city is also calling for investment in many other projects such as the Ha Quang service area in Tam Xuan commune, with a scale of approximately 3 hectares, focusing on developing tourism and marine services; the Bau Dung ecological tourism area in Xuan Phu commune, with a scale of 7 hectares; the Ho Giang Thom ecological tourism area in Tam My commune, with a scale of 8.5 hectares; and the Ho Thac ecological tourism area in Thang Phu commune, with a scale of approximately 10 hectares.

In addition, there is the Bau Sau Riverfront Resort and Accommodation project in Dien Ban Bac ward, covering approximately 25 hectares; and the Suoi Tien Eco-tourism project in Que Son Trung commune, covering approximately 16 hectares.

These projects are expected to boost tourism development, effectively exploit the potential of the ecological landscape, and contribute to job creation, increased income for local people, and socio-economic development in the area.
