Da Nang encourages ordering products from innovative startups.

DNVN - Following the conclusions of Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu at the regular meeting with the startup community, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has issued a document encouraging orders for products, services, and solutions from innovative startup businesses in the city.

The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology encourages departments, agencies, the People's Committees of communes and wards, and corporations and businesses in the city to participate in connecting, cooperating in testing, and applying innovative products, services, and solutions.

Agencies, units, and businesses in need can send proposal and order forms to the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center (58 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Hai Chau Ward) or via email: [email protected].

According to Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, this activity aims to facilitate connections and support innovative startups in the city in finding markets for their products, services, and solutions. This will contribute to promoting the development of the innovative startup ecosystem and contribute to the sustainable socio -economic development of the city.

Previously, as reported by Vietnam Business , on August 12th, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Ho Quang Buu, along with leaders of the City's Department of Science and Technology, met and exchanged ideas with representatives from business incubators, investment funds, universities, colleges, and startups... on the topic of "Finding markets for startup products".

During the meeting, FundGo Da Nang, a startup investment fund, and Control & Automation Solutions Co., Ltd. (CAS) proposed that Da Nang City "commission" startups to solve practical problems. They suggested creating conditions for testing new solutions, attracting experts to act as "chief architects" for the innovative startup ecosystem, and regularly organizing fundraising networking events, in-depth training, and international market promotion.

Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Ho Quang Buu, affirmed that the city will continue to support and improve mechanisms and policies to promote the development of Da Nang's innovative startup ecosystem, not only finding markets but also helping the city's startup products reach further. He requested the Department of Science and Technology to regularly monitor, promptly commend and reward outstanding projects, and strengthen communication to spread successful models.

The Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center needs to coordinate with corporations and government agencies to present at least a few "problem-solving" projects each month, establish mechanisms for idea confidentiality, and select suitable businesses. This will be an important output, linking the value of specific solutions to market needs and contributing to building a dynamic and sustainable innovation and startup ecosystem for Da Nang.
