The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) attracts a large number of visitors to the city.

Specifically, during the fireworks displays on May 30th, June 6th, June 13th, June 20th, June 27th, and July 11th, from 4 PM until the end of the program, Da Nang will prohibit car traffic on many roads around the firing range, grandstands, and stage of DIFF, such as Bach Dang, Le Duan, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen The Loc, and Pham Van Dong. Vehicles serving DIFF 2026 with official badges and passenger buses with more than 30 seats are permitted to circulate on certain routes according to regulations.

From 5 PM until the end of the fireworks display, the city will continue to prohibit all vehicles from circulating on key routes including the Han River Bridge, An Don Street, some sections of Bach Dang Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Le Van Duyet Street, Van Don Street, and the access roads east of the Han River Bridge.

Additionally, passenger buses with more than 30 seats are prohibited from traveling on Ngo Quyen Street, from the Song Han Bridge to Vuong Thua Vu Street, from 4 PM until the end of the program. Trailer trucks and semi-trailers are also prohibited from traveling on the Yet Kieu - Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son route from 4 PM to midnight.

Traffic flow at some central intersections has also been adjusted. Vehicles traveling on Le Loi Street, upon reaching the Le Loi - Le Duan intersection, are not allowed to go straight or turn left; they are required to turn right onto Le Duan Street. At the Quang Trung - Le Loi and Quang Trung - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai intersections, the city has also implemented a ban on left turns and U-turns to reduce congestion in the central area.

According to the Department of Construction, during the traffic management process, the Da Nang City Police can proactively adjust the traffic restriction times to suit the actual situation.

VHO - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 will take place from May 30th to July 11th with the theme "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons," promising to become a highlight attracting tourists during the peak summer season.

In addition to traffic diversion measures, the city is also implementing many no-parking zones to serve DIFF 2026.

Notably, from May 23rd to July 11th, the city will prohibit parking on Bach Dang Street, from Thanh Dien Hai to Tran Quy Cap, to facilitate the fireworks display and assembly area at Da Nang Port.

During the performances, numerous roads such as Tran Phu, Bach Dang, Tran Hung Dao, Pham Van Dong, the access roads to the Dragon Bridge and Han River Bridge, Tran Thanh Tong, Van Don, etc., will be closed to parking from 3 PM to midnight. Some routes will completely prohibit parking, including for priority vehicles, except for vehicles serving Party and State leaders, diplomats , and law enforcement personnel.

The parking lot on 2nd September Street next to the Cham Museum will also temporarily prohibit parking from 2 PM to midnight on the days of the fireworks display.

To accommodate residents and tourists attending DIFF 2026, the city has arranged designated parking areas. Passenger buses with fewer than 30 seats are permitted to park at the Van Don - Nguyen Trung Truc and Ho Han Thuong - Le Van Duyet intersections. Passenger buses with more than 30 seats will park along Pham Van Dong Street.

Da Nang City also announced routes for residents, tourists, and buses from the west, southwest, and southeast to travel to the grandstand area in order to reduce traffic pressure in the city center.

The main traffic routes for residents include Ngo Quyen - Tran Thanh Tong - Van Don; Ngo Quyen - Chu Huy Man - Van Don; Le Duc Tho - Ho Han Thuong; or Le Duc Tho - Chu Huy Man - Ho Han Thuong.

For buses traveling from distant areas, the city has separate traffic lanes for each zone, with routes via Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Tien Son Bridge, or main roads such as Nguyen Tat Thanh, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Ngu Hanh Son, depending on the number of seats in the vehicle.

The Department of Construction recommends that residents and tourists follow the instructions of the authorities and proactively choose suitable routes to avoid traffic congestion during DIFF 2026.
