Da Nang equips managers with knowledge of AI, Blockchain, and Fintech

The Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City said that on August 5, the Department will coordinate with the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) to organize a free training course on the topic "General knowledge for managers and policy makers".

This is an activity to implement the cooperation memorandum signed between the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang and the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, and also towards implementing the Digital Transformation Project in the city by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The training course is aimed at managers of departments, agencies, policy makers, students, postgraduates, lecturers, young researchers and interested people with background in business, finance, management, economics and other fields related to mathematics and information technology.

Taught by 3 experts from the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, within the framework of the training course "General knowledge for managers and policy makers", in addition to grasping general knowledge about AI (artificial intelligence), Blockchain (blockchain technology), Fintech (financial technology) emphasizing the impact on economy, society, management, planning and human resource development, students also listened to the sharing and discussion of experts applying these new technologies in Vietnam.

Also according to the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang, Resolution 05 of the City Party Committee has identified a key task of developing platforms for digital transformation, prioritizing research on some core technologies that can take shortcuts and have the ability to make strong breakthroughs such as AI, Blockchain... to create new business models, new products and services of high value.

To deploy the application of new technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and Fintech in digital transformation and smart city building, raising awareness is especially important.

The Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City and the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics organized a training course on the topic "General knowledge for managers and policy makers" to raise digital awareness for managers and the community.

In the report of the Ministry of Information and Communications , the standing agency of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, in addition to outstanding results in organizing digital human resource development, in the first 6 months of 2023, Da Nang city was also highly appreciated in building digital awareness.

The experience that helps this locality create a fundamental change in digital awareness is to apply the "3 needs" action motto, in which first of all, it requires the exemplary role and participation of the entire political system, the highest determination of Party committees, heads of agencies, and the pioneering role of each cadre, civil servant, public employee, youth union member, and community digital technology team.

At the same time, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive communication strategy and plan on digital transformation for consistent and consistent implementation throughout the city; and communication content needs to ensure mass elements, be concise, close, easy to understand, have themes, topics, diverse and multi-channel communication forms, focusing on digital communication channels, vivid visual propaganda models.
