Tien Luc is an ancient land rich in historical and cultural traditions, notable for its complex of relics including Vien Son communal house, Thuan Hoa communal house, Phuc Quang pagoda, Thanh Ca temple, and a thousand-year-old wild cinnamon tree. This is a typical architectural and artistic complex, classified as a national historical site. The structures within the complex were all built during the Le Trung Hung period (17th-18th centuries), boasting impressive architectural scale and exquisite carvings, reflecting rich traditional artistic values. These are not only valuable tangible heritage sites but also repositories of historical memories, religious beliefs, and the spiritual life of the community across generations.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Luc commune, emphasized: If the complex of communal houses, temples, and pagodas are tangible cultural values that endure over time, then the Tien Luc Festival is a vibrant cultural flow, the "soul" of the heritage.

Held annually from the 18th to the 20th of the third lunar month, the Tien Luc Festival is a continuation of tradition, a special cultural space where the past and present intertwine, and where spiritual values are preserved, passed down, and spread through generations. In the sacred space of the festival, each person experiences pride in their homeland and in the enduring values cultivated over generations. This is not only a remembrance and tribute to ancestors but also an affirmation of the enduring vitality of national culture in contemporary life. With its outstanding values, the Tien Luc Festival has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

At the opening ceremony, traditional rituals such as processions, sacrificial rites, and incense offerings were solemnly performed. In particular, the procession of palanquins from the communal houses to the Thao Xa courtyard at Phuc Quang Pagoda vividly recreated folk religious life, demonstrating community cohesion and the people's reverence for their guardian deities and ancestors. A representative of the organizing committee beat the drum to officially open the festival; this was followed by drum performances, lion and dragon dances, and a welcoming artistic program performed by professional art troupes.

The festival was lively with many unique folk games such as tug-of-war, chess, cockfighting, and swinging. Highlights included the "Peace and Prosperity" character-pulling game and the ball-snatching game, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the people, reflecting their spirit of unity, solidarity, and aspirations for a peaceful, prosperous, and happy life.
