Can Gio sea encroachment mega project approved land price over 27,317 billion VND

(NLDO) - The Can Gio coastal urban tourism project has just been approved for land price of more than 27,317 billion VND.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, the land plots of the Can Gio coastal urban area project have just had their land prices approved with a total amount of more than 27,317 billion VND.

Last April, the Can Gio coastal urban tourism project - Vinhomes Green Paradise, was started by the investor at the estuary of Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town (old Can Gio district), with a total area of ​​2,870 hectares.

This is a project with the largest scale in Vietnam and globally such as the largest theater complex in Southeast Asia; the largest artificial lake in the world; 2 international-class golf courses; a 108-storey multi-purpose tower; a chain of modern hotels and shopping centers; a large-scale entertainment complex; an international standardeducation system, especially the appearance of the American healthcare system - Cleveland Clinic...

Thus, the Can Gio coastal urban area project has collected more than 27,317 billion VND, bringing the total budget revenue in the city (old) to the present time to more than 65,319 billion VND, including land use fees, land rent, water surface rent, and revenue from real estate transfers. Of which, the first 6 months of the year only reached 12,720 billion VND, while the two projects on the list that have just been approved are Lotte Eco Smart City (16,190 billion VND) and Can Gio coastal urban area (more than 43,500 billion VND).

In 2025, the target of land revenue allocation has reached 90.72% of the total 72,000 billion VND in 2025. The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to be in charge of disbursing public investment capital for 104 projects, with a total disbursement of more than 23,846 billion VND. As of June 30, more than 19,439 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching 81.52%, raising the disbursement rate of public investment capital of the whole city to 37.1%.

In the first 6 months of the year, the department issued 214 first-time certificates, bringing the total number of certificates issued to individuals to 1,586,927, reaching 99.68%, while that for organizations reached 1,516,646, reaching 92.53%. Working group 5013 on granting certificates held meetings to review and remove difficulties and obstacles for 142 projects, of which 97/142 projects were completely removed.
