In the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the advanced program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) has the highest cutoff score at 29.39 points. Next is the Computer Science program (IT1) with a cutoff score of 29.19 points. The program with the lowest admission score this year is TROY-BA, with a score of 19.00 based on the high school graduation exam.

This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will recruit 9,680 students. Tuition fees at Hanoi University of Science and Technology from the 2025-2026 academic year will be approximately 28-90 million VND per year, an increase of 3-5 million VND compared to the current rates. The standard program will cost 28-35 million VND per year.
Tuition fees for high-quality programs have increased from 33-42 million VND to approximately 35-45 million VND per year, depending on the major. However, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management majors have tuition fees of 64-67 million VND, unchanged from previous years.
For international programs and joint training programs, Hanoi University of Science and Technology charges an average tuition fee of 25-30 million VND per semester. Specifically, the Business Administration (TROY-BA) and Computer Science (TROY-IT) programs, in collaboration with Troy University in the USA, have tuition fees of approximately 78-90 million VND per year, with three semesters per year.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced that tuition fees may increase in subsequent years, but not by more than 10%.
