What is part-time university?
In-service is a familiar term for those who are already working but want to continue studying to improve their qualifications. Accordingly, in-service is a training program for those who are both working and studying, with the aim of supplementing knowledge, fostering, improving and enhancing professional skills.
People who study part-time often want to advance to higher positions, or find a better job, a position different from their current major.
The name “on-the-job” originally came from the policy of facilitating the cadres and soldiers who had to temporarily stop studying due to participating in the resistance war, and now continue to study. Later, the phrase “on-the-job training” was gradually replaced by “study-while-doing” training. Thus, on-the-job training is also the system of studying while doing.
A part-time university degree is equivalent to a full-time university degree, because the part-time system has the same training program as the full-time system. Currently, part-time degrees are increasingly respected and accepted in agencies and businesses as normal university graduates.
Regulations on part-time university training programs
