Congress of Delegates of Binh Son Commune Party Committee

On August 18 and 19, the Party Committee of Binh Son commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Vo Minh Hoang attended.

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, the Party Committee, together with the local army and people, has strived to successfully achieve the goals and targets set by the Congress Resolution. The Party Committee has completed 22/23 targets, of which 16 targets exceeded the Resolution.

The congress set out a number of targets to strive for in the new term: The average annual growth rate of total product value in the area is 4.95%; by 2030, the average income per capita of the commune will reach 88 million VND/person/year; the rate of households using clean water will reach 89.5%; the rate of people participating in health insurance will reach 95%; the poverty rate will decrease to 1.2%...

The Congress proposed two breakthroughs: Promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in party work, building party organizations that adapt to the digital age; focusing on mobilizing resources to build synchronous transport infrastructure to serve high-tech agricultural production areas, strengthening linkages in processing and product consumption associated with building brands and trademarks to increase the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery products.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 24 comrades to join the Executive Committee of Binh Son Commune Party Committee; 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Do Hoai Thanh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
