After 4 days of urgent and serious work, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Steadfastness - Breakthrough - Development" and a high sense of responsibility, on the morning of October 2, the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, term 2025-2030, completed all the contents and programs set out and held the closing session.
The results and success of the 12th Military Party Congress will contribute to the success of the 14th National Party Congress; motivate officers and soldiers of the entire army, militia and self-defense force nationwide to strive to excel, excellently fulfill all tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people; firmly protect the Fatherland, contribute to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment to build and develop a prosperous and happy country in the new era.
In his closing speech at the Congress, General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, emphasized that the 12th Congress of the Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term had completed all of its proposed contents. The Congress focused on democratic, lively discussions, and frankly contributed many opinions to the draft documents of the Central Military Commission at the Congress.
Through that, it has been affirmed that over the past years, under the absolute direct leadership in all aspects of the Party, the centralized and unified management and administration of the State, the Party Committee of the Army has led the entire army to achieve many outstanding achievements in all fields, especially the tradition of solidarity, exemplary role, and unity in ideology and action, creating a solid foundation for the army.
Many fields have made breakthroughs in development, especially in science, technology and defense industry with the success of researching and manufacturing many new types of weapons and equipment, meeting the requirements of building a modern army, ensuring the people's armed forces can complete many special tasks of the army.
The General Secretary stated that the policies and decisions adopted by the Congress are important orientations for the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army to strive to build a clean, strong, exemplary, and representative Party Committee of the Army, build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Army; enhance national defense strength, firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, and contribute to building a peaceful, prosperous, prosperous, civilized, and happy country, steadily advancing toward social justice.
In particular, the Congress opened a new chapter in the cause of building the Army, consolidating national defense in a modern direction so that the Army will increasingly develop strongly, always be the political force, the absolute, loyal and trustworthy fighting force of the Party, State and people, and be the solid core of the all-people national defense and the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
The General Secretary was pleased to announce to all cadres, party members, masses in the entire army, militia and self-defense forces and people nationwide: The 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, term 2025-2030, was a great success.
The General Secretary affirmed that the success of the Congress was the result of the meticulous and serious preparation process of the Central Army, the functional agencies of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the contributions of efforts and intelligence of all levels, branches, all cadres, party members, the masses, the precious sentiments of the people of the whole country, especially the direct and profound leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the guidance, monitoring and assistance of the Central agencies throughout the preparation process for the Congress.
The 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, demonstrating the high unity of will and belief of the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army, is a strong driving force to encourage cadres, soldiers, professional soldiers, workers, defense officials, laborers of the entire army, and militia and self-defense forces nationwide to strive to rise up, overcome all difficulties and challenges, unite, be of one mind, and join forces to build the Army to progress rapidly, strongly, and firmly on the journey of modernization.
Each officer, commander, soldier, unit, service, corps, army corps and the entire army must continue to unceasingly improve its overall quality and combat strength, successfully carry out all assigned tasks, and contribute, together with the entire Party and people, to successfully build socialism and firmly defend the Fatherland.
With the highest political will and determination after the Congress, the General Secretary requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels focus on leading, directing, and organizing well the dissemination and propaganda of the results of the Congress in the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army.
The relevant parties should closely study, learn and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the Congress documents, promptly complete and promulgate programs and action plans at each level, and systematically implement the Resolution of the Congress; immediately bring the Resolution to units, each officer and soldier in the entire army, making the Resolution truly vital, ensuring that the policies and decisions of the Congress are quickly realized in reality with the best, most vivid and most effective results.
