On the afternoon of October 2, a working delegation led by Mr. Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the recovery of storm consequences at a number of schools in communes in the Chiem Hoa area. Also present were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Health, and the Department of Education and Training.

At Chiem Hoa Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha visited and shared the difficulties and hardships that teachers and students of the school had gone through. The serious flood that occurred from September 30th caused great damage to property, affected the students' boarding accommodation, along with damage to the school's public house and multi-purpose building. Fortunately, all 475 boarding students were promptly moved to a safe place by the school.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the school to quickly overcome current difficulties, focus on environmental sanitation and disinfection to ensure safe conditions, and soon stabilize teaching and learning activities and take care of the health of boarding students. In addition to teaching tasks, he also emphasized that the school needs to: Develop a scientific teaching program, suitable to local conditions, closely linked to physical care and equipping students with vocational knowledge. Pay special attention to promoting the national cultural identity of the students.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested to continue to strengthen propaganda so that parents can clearly understand the Party and State's care and concern for ethnic minority children, creating peace of mind when sending their children to study at school. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee, the communal government and relevant departments and branches to pay attention to removing difficulties, creating conditions for the school to develop further, contributing to training quality human resources from ethnic minorities in the locality.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha and the delegation inspected the post-flood situation at the Primary School and the Medical Station in Hoa An commune. The delegation also visited and presented gifts to two households in Hoa An commune affected by the storm.
