Faced with the complicated developments and severe impacts of storm No. 10, the Mobile Police Command continuously mobilized thousands of officers and soldiers to respond, overcome consequences and support people in localities.

In order to urgently support localities and people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10, Mobile Police Battalion No. 3, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment has deployed plans to prevent and combat storms and heavy rains in the localities, organized a force of more than 1,000 officers and soldiers with full equipment, materials and means to be on duty in Lao Cai and Ha Giang provinces, ready to coordinate with local forces and local authorities to support people in evacuating, searching and rescuing, as well as overcoming the consequences after the storm, contributing to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

Captain Duong Van Ninh - Officer of Mobile Police Battalion No. 3 said: Following the direction of the Command, the unit has prepared forces and vehicles to promptly respond to areas heavily affected by floods, prioritizing support for areas with serious damage, helping people quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.

Immediately in the situation of heavy rain and rapid flood, the Command of the Northwest Mobile Police Regiment quickly directed Battalion 3 to urgently prepare necessary forces, military equipment, and materials to support the evacuation and movement of people and property in flooded and at-risk areas in Nam Cuong ward, Lao Cai province.

Wherever the water receded, officers and soldiers of the Battalion coordinated with local forces to evacuate people, move assets, clear traffic routes, and participate in cleaning schools and houses to help people stabilize their lives soon and students quickly return to class.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Thi Thanh - Officer of Mobile Police Battalion No. 3, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment, emotionally shared: In the process of participating in supporting localities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10, our officers and soldiers encountered many difficult situations and suffered heavy losses. A typical case is Mr. Nguyen Khac Tuan, 85 years old, living in the "flood center" of the old Hong Ha ward. We gave priority to helping Mr. Tuan's family clean up mud and clean up household items to stabilize their lives soon, then continued to support other households.

In recent days, in Yen Bai ward, officers and soldiers of Mobile Police Battalion No. 3 have actively participated in cleaning and clearing mud at key flooded areas in Hong Tien and Hong Phong residential groups. At the same time, the unit also cleaned up mud and trash at a number of national monuments such as Yen Bai Stadium, Nha Ken flower garden, Hong Ha theater and supported people in cleaning their houses.

Typically, officers and soldiers of Mobile Police Battalion No. 3, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment helped the family of Mr. Nguyen Khac Tuan, 85 years old, residing on Nguyen Du Street, Yen Bai Ward. Due to the impact of storm No. 10, the Red River rose, causing Mr. Tuan's house to be flooded more than 1 meter deep, causing damage to many properties. When the water receded, a large amount of mud and dirt remained in the house. On the morning of October 2, the Battalion urgently assigned officers and soldiers to help clean up all the mud and trash, clean the house and belongings for the family.
