On the morning of October 3, comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected and directly directed the search for missing victims due to landslides in Ma Lau A village, Lung Cu commune.

Accompanying were comrades: Hoang Gia Long, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Trung Kien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Through practical inspection and listening to reports from local forces and authorities, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh assessed that this was the point with the greatest loss of human life in storm No. 10 in the province; so far, the location of the collapsed house has been basically determined and 1 victim has been found.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh shared the losses of the victim's family and the people of Ma Lau A village. At the same time, he highly appreciated the involvement and search for the missing victims by the functional forces and local authorities, and the support of the people.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the forces: Police, Border Guard, Militia, Youth to continue to determine possible locations to quickly search for the remaining victims; mobilize all available means, if additional equipment support is needed, propose to the province. In parallel with searching for victims, it is necessary to ensure safety plans for people and vehicles; calculate exit routes, coordinate and command sensitively in situations where landslides may occur during the search.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh requested local Party committees and authorities to mobilize people around the landslide area and in high-risk areas in Ma Lau A village to move to safe places while waiting for the province's policies; in which cadres and party members in the village must set an example first. Forces should support people in transporting assets and essential items to safe places; if there is a lack of human resources, report to the province to mobilize forces in other localities for support.

The forces searching for the missing victims coordinated closely, unified command, ensured warning plans, and were on duty 24/7 around the landslide area. The Provincial People's Committee immediately set up a provincial working group to survey the current landslide area to develop a plan to stabilize the residents; at the same time, reviewed the entire Ma Lau A village area to have a plan to move residents out of the high-risk landslide area to a safe place.

To the people, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged that people had come to encourage and support the functional forces in searching for missing victims; at the same time, he advised people not to be negligent or subjective; during the search and rescue period, people were asked not to be curious to watch, to avoid the situation of sudden landslides causing more human losses. Functional forces and local authorities made a list of healthy young people to participate in support; placed warning signs around the area so that people who were not on duty would not be curious to watch, to absolutely ensure the forces participating in the rescue, searching for victims and people in the area.
