The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 13 water tanks to the people.

(DTO) On December 1, in order to share difficulties with poor households, near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances regarding water storage in the province, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Thap province coordinated with the Representative Board of Hoa Hao Buddhism in Dong Thap province to organize the donation of water tanks in the communes of Tan Phu Dong, Go Cong Dong, Tan Dien and Gia Thuan.

A total of 13 water tanks (capacity of 1,000 liters/tank) were given to poor households, near-poor households, and households with especially difficult circumstances in terms of water storage, with a total cost of nearly 23 million VND, of which the Hoa Hao Buddhist Representative Board of Dong Thap province supported 20 million VND, the remaining cost was taken from the province's Fund for the Poor.

The gift-giving activities of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Representative Board of Dong Thap province not only timely support people to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters, but also contribute to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and authorities at all levels to effectively implement social security policies in the province.

Thereby, practically welcoming the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Thap province, term 2025 - 2030, well implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the period 2021 - 2025, at the same time helping poor and near-poor households feel secure in economic development and rise out of poverty.
